Everyone knows the problem is usa is too many guns owned by people that should not own guns!

Solution is known, proof is seen in the many countries that imposed gun control and saw homicide rate drop.

marooons in GOP will never let gun control solve the usa homicide problem. You GOPers need to vote out your leaders owned by nra and gun nuts.

Goat,

In Mexico it’s very difficult to own a legal gun and yet there’s way more gun violence. Perhaps there’s a message there for Liberals in the US.

The message is, It’s useless to have laws that aren’t enforced. Criminals don’t obey the laws if they don’t fear consequences, that’s why they’re called criminals. The law-abiding people don’t need the laws in the 1st place! Lastly, both the leaders and the police need to be effective or civilization breaks down!

Mexico and Europe where guns are illegal and gun violence is rampant being the examples.

Thanks to everyone that heeded the message to not cross the border I had the easiest crossing. Mexicali was a ghost town this morning at 7:30 0 minute wait at Mexicali east. Global entry. No sign of any trouble just eerily quiet.

Europe??? Are you sure???

Looks like guns and gun violence have flooded both continents of America:

https://worldpopulationreview.com/country-rankings/gun-death...

Definitely looks like a feature of the Americas, not a bug. Maybe drugs/guns/money? And, who's the biggest customer?

The public history of US Gov colluding to run guns to Mexican Cartels, and throughout the Americas is well documented in the public record. Whether it's Oil North, or Eric Holder, US continues to fuel cartel violence.

While Eric Holder and Barack Obama were meeting with cartel in the Whitehouse extensively and running weapons in programs Gun Walking and Fast and Furious, Eric Holder was held in contempt of congress, as were others, like Oli North, they continue their antics to cause disruption and chaos of the Americas.

While the Presidents say, "well, I didn't know" and "Abrazos no Balazos."

Border agents are first line of defense from the bad boys in TJ.

Agents do a tough job everyday and deserve respect and support.

And yet the Peso continues to climb in value relative to both the USD and the CAD. Something is going right. Perhaps the recent handling of inflationary pressures by subsidizing the gasoline prices with additional revenues from oil excise taxes is the primary motivator of the improved trade balance?

From west to east: Tijuana, Mexicali, Nogales, Juarez, Nuevo Laredo, Reynosa, and Matamoros are places that I always do my very best to avoid. Big border cities are just notorious for corruption and drug activity.

Maybe it's because I was raised and have lived my entire life in rural Indiana, but I don't particularly feel all that safe in any big city whether it's in the US or Mexico (or even Canada). I prefer rural areas and small cities / towns. I drive a truck OTR and I always stay at rural truck stops, never urban ones. I've slept in my car in Mexico at a toll road rest area in Cuencame, Durango. I wouldn't do that anywhere in Indianapolis.

From west to east these are places I have used (in CAPS) or would use (not in caps) to cross into Mexico: TECATE, SONOYTA, Naco, Columbus (NM), OJINAGA, Acuna, Piedras Negras, COLOMBIA (TX 255), Roma, Los Indios.

I hate hearing about what's happening in Northwestern Baja. Just sucks for everyone, especially the people that live there. I stopped in Ensenada at the Mirador that overlooks the Pacific, but my goal the first day I crossed into Baja was to get south of Ensenada, to the real Baja. Never felt threatened at all, but that border area can be something else, especially at night.
