Used to be restaurant at the El Cortez?

I understand the name has changed for what used to be the El Cortez - specifically the restaurant. I recall that the hotel was divided into three parts some time ago, but the restaurant I'm interested is the southernmost property. They had nice seaside patio dining.

New name?

Thanks

I appreciate the name - when it was the El Cortez we rented a small casita just south of the place. There were 4 or 5 small rentals. Do you know if those are part of Matilde's or not there any longer?

On my May 2019 trip page is this:

>>>We had rooms at the Stella Del Mar motel that (as I understand) was once part of the El Cortez, but got divided up into 3 smaller motels. It was right on the sand… Dinner was great.
We sat out under a palapa by the sea drinking and chatting before crashing.<<<

Having stayed at Victors RV Park a few times over the last
few yrs. As you know, there is some family relation with the Cortez
and Victor. 3 yrs. back, some of the casitas appeared
to be divided up, some going to Victors, some stayed
with the Cortex, different paint colors. Last time I was there
the casitas appeared to be in use
