Cars swept down roads.

After a 5.3 magnitude earthquake off the shores of Mulege hit a few hours ago, Mulegé Municipality was inundated with 4 inches of rain in one hour
and numerous lightning strikes plus 82 mph wind gusts. Damage reports are still coming in from the flooding. But it appears that this could be worse
than Hurricane Kay. Mulege Rotary is standing by to assist in whatever way we can. If you would like to help, you can donate at

They also had an earthquake. Report from Baja Glamping in Coyote -
We have unfortunate news, last night we were hit by another storm out of nowhere following a 5.2 earthquake sustaining more damage then the last two
storms combined. This being said we are unsure when we will be able to reopen our doors, please stay tuned and keep us and all the people of Mulege in
your thoughts. Mother nature is showing us her power, and it’s stronger than all of us.

This is so sad. The pictures are scary. My students are fine but everything is closed. My gosh, this year will go down in history for Santa Rosalia
and Mulege.

Over here in San Juanico we had wind and lightening starting at 0330 and lasting till 0700. Im guess the same little storm that hit on the sea of
cortez side. No damage over here but I wanted to point out thee size of the disturbance.
