Considering a whole house filter might be a wise move just about anywhere you live south of the border. The power of providing safe water can then be in your hands and not having to rely upon the municipal water authority more than you do already.

We all buy purified water to drink and cook with even here in socal. Imagine not having to do that with your bathing, cooking and drinking water uses down south. I would still test on a regular basis just to be sure all is working as hoped for.

I would think testing the water quality might be a good way of knowing what specifically to consider filtering for… There are numerous variances of filtration options.
