Riding fat bikes in the dunes after a rain. The moisture hardened up the sand and made it like a skate park almost.

JZ, thanks for the thread, got me fired up to start digging through our old trips and look at the photos!
Discovered this place on our drive up the coast 6-8 years ago. Someone put a lot of work into this shack and surrounding area, really beautiful.

I'm a bit skull-here clueless -- Are these dolphin skulls, or pelican skulls, or something else? I do find them on the beaches now and then.

Looks similar to this location at Palo Chino.

That is Mike Younghusband who showed me some interesting artifacts nearby, after we toured San Javier.
