You can shop any of the big box stores online, they all list dimensions. Easy to shop the web for appliances.

I have had a 12 DC/110 AC ice chest sized portable fridge for a few years now and it works pretty good. There is a large selection on Amazon, just do a search for a "car refrigerator". Concentrate on the units that use a compressor since the thermoelectric models will not get cold enough to make ice.

I've had an ARB for fifteen plus year without a problem, love it as well.
It spends most days in my wife's SUV, she loves that she can shop anytime and throw stuff in the fridge.

I have a couple of ARB fridge/freezers and they are a solid product. My first classic fridge has been running off strict solar/battery for over 12 years non stop in my vehicle. The second is also a classic model ARB fridge in my van running 24-7 off 12v solar. I anticipate similar reliability with this one.

Choices for the small ones. Prices are usually above $100
Cigreen 10L, Euhomy 18L, Dometec CDF-11, Vevor 10L
Best one is the CDF-11 find one used , otherwise they are very expensive.

Igloo 40 quart 12V cooler

I just acquired a used Igloo 40-quart thermoelectric cooler as partial repayment for favors rendered to a friend of a friend. My first thought was that it would be an upgrade from my ice chest for my next Baja run.

I plugged it into the 110/12v converter and was immediately disappointed. This sucker has a loud fan that I sure wouldn't want to listen to all day and night. It took over two hours to bring the box down to the "safe" zone on a refrigerator thermometer I have, and runs continuously.

Does anyone here have one of these units? Even if I can fix the fan noise, I wonder what the battery drain would be like when I can't plug into 110v?

If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space!

"Could do better if he tried!" Report card comments from most of my grade school teachers. Sadly, still true!

We have the ARB and a battery ARCpac we use when the vehicle isn't running. BCS house runs on solar so we bring fridge in and plug in and keep battery charged for solar snafus.
