Mexicali/San Filipe questions

Greetings,
I will be crossing Mexicali East next Wednesday for the first time and saw there is a Calimax on the route to the 5. I’m guessing it has an ATM, but thought I’d double check to make sure?
We will be crossing about 2 pm and are looking for a place to camp in San Filipe for the night. Don’t need much, but maybe tacos and showers would be nice. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
We are heading to San Bruno and fishing YT at San Marcos when the wind isn’t blowing or hanging out at Playa Coco when’s it’s blowing.
Thanks!
Steve

I wouldn't stop in Mexicali. The Calimax in San Felipe has ATMs right inside the doors. There is also a BBVA in San Felipe near the Malecon.

The Calimax south of the east crossing is nice and has a better selection of items than the one in San Felipe. Access southbound is easiest from the signal just north of the store. I don't know about an ATM, I use the bank one in SF if I need one.

I would stop at Pete's camp, just north of town. Lots of camping and food at the restaurant.

Atms and supermarkets in both san felipe and mexicali. There are some larger markets in mexicali that may have larger variety of stuffs. There is a very large soriana hiper (like a super walmart) in east mexicali area. costco also in mexicali, convenient regardless if you cross east or west.
