I have used uLink for the past few years. Easy to use and the fees are very reasonable.

??? Banorte isn't Bancomer.

Larry, there is no such thing as Bancomer anymore. It is called BBVA. Google that and click on it.

You can pay your fideicomiso fees directly to Bancomer / BBVA via credit card. There is no need to use an intermediary business.

I have used the following process for several years:

Follow this link to open a form to request your current payment due -
https://portal.bbva.mx/informes/fideicomisos/

You will receive an email back from BBVA in a day or two. The email will contain confirmation of your fideicomiso data and a link to follow to make the actual payment.

Follow the link and pay with your credit card. Pay in US dollars and there is no foreign transaction fee.

You will receive an email back that has your receipt and a factura included. Save and/or download for your records.

You can call Bancomer / BBVA afterwards to confirm your payment, if so desired.

Click this link for a list of BBVA fideicomiso offices and contact phone numbers. Not sure where you are but the Los Cabos names and phone numbers are current. I just talked to them (in english) a week ago.

Ulink is definitely the way to go. I tried paying directly to Banorte because I wasn't that confident in a 3rd party involvement and it ended up being ridiculous.

I received my bill and went to Banorte in La Paz and made my payment. A short while later I received aother notice from their Mexicali office saying my fidi was still due, so I called them. She stated that even though I paid my fees directly to Banorte it was still necessary that I send her a copy of my receipt. Apparently, their branches aren't on speaking terms! She recommended that I make my payment through Ulink in the future which I have been doing ever since.

Ulink gives me a receipt that they have received payment and then I get another from Ulink when Banorte receives payment. I love it. I now have a solid paper trail which for those who went through the FidiWhat? fiasco will appreciate after having to submit receipts to prove that we had been making our payments

My fidei is with ScotiaBank. I simply do an electronic transfer from my BofA account to the ScotiaBank account as described by the fidei rep. I can't imagine the transaction being simpler or better documented.

That's really weird. My bank trust is with Banorte and while my property is in the Puerto Vallarta area, I have paid the annual fees in cash at various Banorte branches, including in Baja once. I always was given a receipt for the payment and have never received any communication saying I owed money or had to send a copy of the receipt.

The only hassle I had was at the Baja Banorte over whether I could pay in dollars. They insisted they had to convert my dollars to pesos at their bank rate. They wouldn't back down. But in fact, the trust reads "$450 US or the equivalent in pesos". Meaning I have a choice. And when I pay at the Banortes in my area, they always ask if I want to pay in dollars or pesos.

I have had to repeatedly request a receipt before payment was acknowledged. A giant pia.

At the 3 Banorte branches I have paid at in Nayarit and Jalisco, the way it works is that I first have to go to one of the desks of the account managers or whatever they are, with my bank trust papers in hand, they call the office in Guadalajara to verify the amount to pay (if I pay in dollars, it's a set amount- the $450US stated in the contract plus IVA, so $527, if I pay in pesos, they do the conversion), then they write that out on a slip of paper with my bank trust contract number on it, and I go to a teller window to pay it. And for any transaction you do at a teller window, they give you a receipt.

This is exactly the same process that I used to go through in La Paz with Bancomer. (Wait in line for an account manager, they would call somebody for the payment amount, wait in line again and pay at a window teller) A bit of a pita ...)

A few years ago, a Bancomer / BBVA account manager suggested that I could make the payment directly on-line. Sure enough, it worked!

For Bancomer, just follow the procedure I detailed in a previous post above.

Good Luck!

I just paid my fees using RnR's method and it worked perfectly. I did it this morning and I already have a reciept in my email. No extra fees.
