More of our road trip

After spending the night in Casa Grande AZ, we headed east, stopping for 1 night at Demings NM, Van Horn TX, Midland TX, MingusTX. We finally spent 2 nights on the lake in Pittsburg TX and from there it was just a couple of hours to Mena AR where we spent 4 nights for the eclipse. Next stop was Hot Springs AR for 2 nights lakefront campsite. All of the campgrounds mentioned except for Mena were Passport America, and if you camp a lot I’d really recommend joining the group and usually save 50%. We left Hot Springs this morning and are now camping riverfront on the mighty Miss in west Memphis AR. Hit some intermittent heavy rain along the way, but the wildflowers in East Texas and Arkansas are fantastic.
