Strong winds and on and off heavy rain here all night starting about 5PM yesterday. Gusty and rainy ahora. So far CFE and Telmex have kept one step ahead of the pretty severe lashing. The rain is soooooo welcome but you can change the name of the capital from La Paz to La Bache. Looking forward to a snow day.

overcast and calm here in Bahia Asuncion but preparing well for rain, wind & flooding by digging trenches...got stores of water, beer, food, gas ready and charging everything up including alternate power sources and VHF radios...bracing for the worst...but it is a beautiful calm morning but humid and a few minutes of spitting.

thanks to all who are posting live here....please be safe and move to high ground if needed...especially those of you in Mulege & San Ignacio and who are in arroyos or low lying areas.

10:45am Still strong wind 30 to near 40 mph. Cell phone 4 bars and internet still on. Light drizzle but that could be from the storm surf.
Any word on the Mulege river height?

Weather Station Punta Chivato PCH IMULEG3

Hey Russ, the Wunder ... weather station at Punta Chivato (PCH xxxx) is on my roof . I think the Punta Chivato wu weather data is from my station, but not the forecasting, that comes from WU.
My station will report as long as Excede stays up.
