The guano or bird poo is used as an additive for fertilizer. And yes, they scrape the stuff off of the islands. They also harvest it at the islands off of San Quintin.

I've seen the barge deliver it in large white sacks to a waiting semi trailer backed down the Old Mill boat ramp.

Pablo consag rock is good fishing several species ,if you go thier you will proably catch a tortuaba, which are endangered so puncture thier float bladder and release them take light tackle as the trigger fish are a ball
