Photo from the deck of the main house. New metal roof on the guest house, proximity of the beach, and in general the view from our casa.

Old people are like the old cars, made of some tough stuff. May show a little rust, but good as gold on the inside.

Late last night, before the moon came up, I buried a 100 pound sack of $100 dollar bills. Whoever buys this place gets to look for it. It is really there, really.

This place is still available, and I have reduced the price yet again. This is a really good deal for someone looking to retire in Baja, be on the water, and only be 10 hours from the border.

I am still interested, Larry. Just need to secure the access to the runway. Is the runway still in good shape for landings? Is the lady caretaker/owner still there?

Would like to come down again in April/May. Will you be there?

David and Mike
No the airport permit has not been renewed and as I understand it, the runway is closed permanently. Too bad. There are some new property owners over at Rincon that are trying to get a runway built and permitted over there. If that happens they may allow a hangar to be built by someone else.

Baja House

Larry
Just a quick note to say your house in BOLA is the cleanest and best set up house my wife and I have looked at. Your attention to detail and the thought you put into the water and solar systems make it a truly turnkey opportunity. The location is ideal and the landscaping well done.

However since we already have a house in north Baja we are going to concentrate our $$ on making it self sufficient and do more exploring of Baja's beaches, mountains and Missions.

Thanks for the ideas and motivation you provided us, good luck selling your home.

Thanks for the kind words. You and Melissa would have been a great addition to the neighborhood but I understand where you are coming from. If you are ever in the area stop in for a beer.

Very nice house, there. Wish I could get down that way and take a look in person. Goat has been pretty edgy on the Off Topic area as well...

Alan,
It is a cement ramp, usable at a medium tide and higher. I just figured you've seen one ramp you've seen them all, but the next time I go over to the old house I'll take a couple of shots of the ramp for you. I'll do anything to keep a little interest going in the place.

Dr.
I wish you could come down here also, you could be a millionaire the first year, that is assuming you would accept IOU's or chickens as payment for medical services. As far as the goat being edgy, I don't know what that means or how to respond to it. What is an edgy goat?

I wish all ramps were the same. Many I have seen in La Paz are fine for pangas but not really deep enough (too shallow of a slope) for others. I wish this had been on the market 7 years ago. It is exactly what I had been looking for but I have since settled in La Paz. However I have a friend still in the fire service who is approaching retirement so I am forwarding your post. If I can talk him into it we could fish both north and south Baja:biggrin:
