there are several ways of obtaining citizenship but it is essentially the same process plus you have to be married for 5 years I believe. the process can take 6-12 months. I don't think it's a shortcut being married.

Check out www.mexperience.com. I believe marriage to a National bestows an automatic FM-2, not citizenship.
