No, you can only use the bus line as a sentri line during normal sentri hours when the sentri line has to clsoe for things like a bathroom break or the customs inspector being sick.
However, down the road they are planning to let us use it 24/7(bus line) At least thsi what I was told by customs but no decision was made yet to finalize that.

I never heard of a Ped Sentri, I have the vehicle Sentri so can it be used if walking back into the U.S. or will Customs/Immigration agents grab it from you for trying it??? Those Custom Agents like to grab things back from you. Coming back from Rosarito my wife had some roses left from a bunch I had bought her for our 32 anniversary and they put us into Secondary to see the Ag guy. It took about 45 minutes before they let us go and I had numerous Custom Inspectors changing shifts starting to research my truck and when told we were just waiting for the Ag Inspector the read the note on the windshield of the truck and walked on. Finally, a Customs Inspector who was a female and kept watching this wait we were being subjected to went inside and got us cleared. I know they have to be careful and I support them but that damn Ag Inspector who I never really saw should have came outside did his or her look see and let us go. Next time no flowers will cross with us too much nonesense. Great time and good fun while in Baja and no wait will take that away. By the way before Secondary we had already did 2 hours in line. I would NOT advise using the mobile SENTRI for the ped SENTRI unless you get confirmation from at LEAST three different officials in WRITING. A couple fo trips ago we were crossing at Tecate and the wife instinctively handed me her Sentri card (no Sentri at Tecate) instead of her driver's license and you would have thought we handed the agent anthrax. He said he could have the card revoked due to 'unauthorized use'. These guys have a job I would NEVER want so I give them the benefit of the doubt, mostly, but some of the attitudes we encounter are beyond the pale. It has definitely been worse the last 3-4 years compared to the 29 years prior as workload increased. SY is the most used border land crossing in the WORLD. Write your congressperson and ask for more funding for the border.

VIVA SENTRI!
