a La Paz must-see (imo)

El Serpentario

It is such a cool little aquatic zoo. All the animals are cared for lovingly by the resident caretakers.

A fun little outing.

Last day and it was packed with new fun.

First thing in the morning, we got to see Becky and Bernards boat. It is a real beauty!

I met them while we were all volunteering at the orphanage, an experience I am sure we will remember fondly. Thanks for showing us your boat.

Then we were driving around and I had Les go around the block again so I could capture this shot of all the mail delivery scooters:

Then we went and finalized our medical insurance for Mexico, so that we are covered in an emergency with SEGURO POPULAR. It was so easy.

From there we went to meet up with some folks Les met on the plane back from San Diego last week; Ida and Randy. He is a dentist and he knows that next time I am counting on him to bring some tools so he can take care of the kids!

and then, a meet up that I was looking so forward to! Mr. Pendleton Wallace himself! The writer who retells everything Baja whom I discovered a couple days ago thru LAPAZGRINGO site. Les and I laughed til we cried as we read his sailing misadventure in Punta Abreojos. Interesting, scary, funny all in one

PENN AND DAWN

Back to La Bocana and guests who are waiting for us! Polish eggs are needing to be made pronto!

Thanks for traveling with us ....it has been a wonderful trip. Hasta next time.

Mulegena

no time to go there today but we did meet the biologist who opened it once. He stayed at our B&B. He was indeed passionate about it. Next time.

Time for the freshness of the Pacifico and home. I'm wornout reading all your adventures and even feel like I gained weight from so many culinary delights. La Bocana? Buen Viaje. Tomas

I am soooo happy we had a chance to meet. I loved following your posts. It was great to look at my little corner of the world through someone else's eyes that sees things I may have missed. Michelle and I thoroughly enjoyed our time with you and Les and look forward to future visits. Please keep in touch as we do want to sponsor one of your young men.

Hi Alan and Michelle! Come visit us soon! It is very cool here....a delight after 109 degree heat.

Cool in the shade and warm in the sun. Perfect weather.

Amazing that I have nothing to do except relax today. Nice. Very nice.

Everyone should come and visit NOW. We will be selling the B&B so we can buy in La Paz. We will keep our home, so we can always come to this paradise, but the guest room is filled with teaching material, sorry!
