Since it was a missions tour, I think San Javier came after Loreto, Mulege and San Ignacio on their way to Cabo where the tour ended last Monday. I
have not seen a new post from Cameron since on his Facebook page.

This is the TV special filmed last June that I was flown by helicopter to Baja to spend 3 days with Cameron Steele and his group of Ford Raptor and
other truck owners who drove to Cabo San Lucas and visited the old Spanish mission sites in Baja, as described in my recent book: The Old Missions of
Baja & Alta California 2nd Edition I have no idea how many seconds they filmed of me will be used, while I described the history at two mission
sites for the group of about 50 people on the Trail of Missions tour.

güéribo: I would like that indeed... maybe in the future, but the copter and I only went as far south as Mission San Fernando this time.

fishbuck: I don't know any more than it was a 'Raven' copter that seats 4. It is the same bird that films for SCORE TV.

I looked it up. A "Raven" is a souped up model of a Robinson R44. Bigger engine, hydraulic assist on the flight controls.

I saw Cameron on TV this week. He won the Trophy Truck class in the Tijuana 100 or something. Literally in the backend of Tijuana through ranchos and
semi-developed areas.

Thank you... Yes, it was huge to be flown to Baja and back just to spend three days with Cameron's group (and get to be on national TV for a couple of
minutes, lol)

It is 45 min (no commercials in this link) and I am on at minute 5:45-6:30 (Mission Santo Domingo) and again at minute 9:53-10:24 (Mission Rosario de
Abajo). I was going to lecture again at Mission San Fernando but the automotive problem delays getting there had Cameron scrub the tour of that
mission so the Raptors headed on to Cataviña and I flew back to El Cajon with Casey Currie who lost the tip of his finger surfing at Solosports Punta
San Carlos and needed to get to a hospital to fix that. Casey shows it beginning at minute 13:38. You can see Casey and me get in the copter at minute
15:10 for the ride home from near Mission San Fernando. The editing is not perfect for timeline, because after that scene, the Mesa San Carlos viewing
is shown and that happened before we flew away.
The show is pretty good and shows places like La Lobera. I hope you guys like it. Cameron has, since this tour, hired me to plan locations for two
more tours after this one and he has purchased many copies of my new 2016 book to give to each vehicle in the tour. Just over minute 20, Cameron is
lecturing on the Camino Real at San Borja. He said it is a 1-day walk to Santa Gertrudis, but it was recorded by the padres as a 3-day trip and
mission times and Cameron adds that a modern hiker reported taking 5 days.
Besides the mostly Ford Raptors, there was Casie's Jeep and at least one Dodge truck, and a Tundra, too.
