Lots of pics online of those honest Mexicans looting stores, some taking their children along so they can learn how to be good little thieves, what a
break down in civil order, many just stealing only beer

Buried somewhere in those pictures of looters carrying beer and small appliances was a quote from a 41 year old man who said he is taking purified
water and food for his family as he doesn't know when necessities will be available to buy, or be distributed. This is the harsh reality of the
situation. I hope, and I would guess, that the pictures of people walking out with party goods and household items show the minority. There is no
shame in making sure your family will have something to eat under extraordinary circumstances.
The word colonia generally refers to neighborhoods. Some are well off, others are dirt poor. People in the more well to do areas probably have food
and drink to hold them over in their homes, while in some parts of town people live day to day and have to resort to extreme measures.
