they also said you can have guns now and we haven't heard anything from anyone that has tried to get them through the check points. some how I think when they get that far there journey is over:lol:

I know exactly where the traffic light is. I do look for cops and slow down in case it's a trick. I'll be flexible next time I pass through.

And I'll learn to dance better. Being on a bicycle in traffic is very nerve racking. Again, the dance thing.

My take on driving La Paz, they don't like stop signs, but signals rule, all in all I think they are pretty courteous. I'm personally comfortable with La Paz Drivers.

I've noticed that about stop signs. It's not even a ''California stop" (touch the brakes and roll on through). These guys let off the gas but if there's no traffic crossing them, they don't even touch the brakes.

And comitan, you probably don't ride a bicycle, eh? Think I'll just stay on the Malecon and watch for pot holes and water puddles. Hit a puddle once and fell into a pot hole while watching the seagulls.

I had to go back & look to see what the topic was. Anyone who thinks we need to change the topic "within" a thread is 'out of balance'. Just on this side of the border (San Luis to Yuma), it is very noticeable that the majority of cars with Sonora and BC plates average about 5 mph under the limit and tend to yield at 4-way stops even when they have the right of way. My Cachanilla bud says it's a common phenomenon, as soon as they are back on the other side they haul burro and ignore lights and signs. Logical; over here the tickets are expensive and there is no bargaining.
