Birkenstocks are not just for lefties! Wore my black ones with black sox to work today. That's formal ware for me. Only wear the browns with white sox in the privacy of my own home (or maybe for a quick run to the grocery without makeup early on Sunday morning).

I'm glad the pedantic minutia wavelength has been hijacked while I was gone. A lot has occurred while I was out living a life.

It took me a long time to get back because I had to go shopping for new sandals to wear. My dog ate my old ones and the new ones broke. I can't wear black socks either because my legs are too tan. They go better with pasty white legs, plaid shorts and black shoes. I've decided on a thong and bow tie. I'm on my way to paint the town red. I'm not worried about tomorrow morning but I will probably wake up feeling kinda ocher.

toneart, thong and bow tie, very interesting, would suggest sock suspenders with this outfit to give it a bit of flare!

That is a tough question, and i wanted to take some time and think before answering. Doing the Right Thing is always important.

I think that most people don't ever see the underside of a table, and those who do are probably not paying attention. But when painting a room, especially one that hasn't been painted before, I usually paint the underside of the top of the room. And that space under a table may smeday serve as a "room" to small child at play.

I like Elizabeth's idea of doing a miniature of the Sistine ceiling on the underside. I think art in secret places is quite interesting, don't you?
