Grandma came out from Nebraska in 1901--land of Milk & Honey. Cherry Beach, Rainbow Pier, & Pierpoint Landing. Anyone remember those places? My Parents took our family to Ensenada in the fifties. My friends & I started headin to Baja as soon as we could drive. Good memories!:cool: Tio

ps A few from Long Beach I see now. Bill Collector, where did you grow up and go to school. We're neighbors again south in the Baja! Some curious migrations. Why would anybody leave Laguna Beach except for Sun Valley or Baja?:o East Detroit, omg. Goes to show, we don't get to choose our family or where they live!:o Tio

Wendy & I born Mercy Hosp. Roseburg Oregon. I am 5th generation Oregonian. There are 7 generations living there, and the 8th is due first part of 2011. Some people call that "living in a rut"

Butte, MT in 1937. Went through elementry school with Bobby (Evil) Knivel. It was a 100% underground copper mining town with open gambling and prostitution. Lived there until my parents had the good sense to move to San Diego when I was 14, and still to young to appreciate the special ammnities of Butte

Wheelus AFB in Tripoli, Libya, 1961. The base hospital was later converted to one of Gaddafi's palaces and we (US) bombed it in 1986, which resulted in the death of one of his daughters. Remember that?
