to the one who said that the world would be a better place without missionaries.............
You are probably right, the whole system needs to be revamped! I do not believe that foreigners should come in and try to change entire cultures or
any a culture for that matter. If we could just love each other as we are the world would be such a better place...........

Apology accepted.
I am involved with charitable organizations. Donations that is.
Sacramento Child Advocates
Childrens Receiving Home of Sacramento
A few places in San Felipe like where BN Chuck is helping out ..the SF Food Bank
That's why I got a little twisted. I love to help. I really do.
Anyhow....good luck with your venture, and may it all work out for you.

In the East Cape there are several non-profits and even more individuals, all of which (whom) contribute time, money and goods to the community needs.
Mostly, it is done for the right reason, to help those who need help. Occasionally, motivation gets a bit fuzzy.
However, the community still benefits. My sense of it is that up and down Baja it is pretty much the same.
This is one heck of a thread. How did I miss it until today?
