Well, assuming that someone wants to talk about the original post, it appears there is a concerted effort in Mexico to begin enforcing the rules
regarding renting your property and paying taxes.

Well, it doesnt single foreigners out in the article. But it's probably because it goes without saying in a community like San Carlos.
Hard to say, but I bet probably 50-75% of the homes in San Carlos are probably owned by foreigners.
I hope nobody thought I was living the idyllic life of an ex-pat, totally immersed in a foreign culture, over here......................
