I paddle a sit on top, unsinkable, not sure about a sit
inside, I suppose the hatches would have to be breached
to allow enough water to enter, to sink, good point about being thethered to the boat

NOW, there's a guy you wouldn't want to go sailing with.
Unlike some, he DID know "Dick", though.ursidae69 - 4-16-2012 at 03:02 PM

Since a kayak is non submersible why didn't they just hold on And ride it out to shore.
I know the area well from an luminum boat. Much safer but you get a wet ride coming home. Always stay close to shore. That's where the fish are
anyway.
Once capsized and in the water it is hard work to right your boat and even if you've done it you have to bail it out and get going again before you
get flipped again. Just riding it out while floating next to your boat would only work if you're wearing a dry suit. The water temps will lower your
core body temperature in not much time and before you know it, you're sleepy and then you're gone.
