Fantastic UDO. Just out of curiosity, do you know what kind of avocados they are growing? Hass? If I know what kind they are, I will grow them in
my back yard in Baja.Feathers - 4-23-2014 at 08:32 AM

That sounds kinky. Do you have any fotos?
I do, DENNIS. but it'll cost you... a bag of key limes. Udo - 4-23-2014 at 09:31 AM
The ones that my sister has are HASS, as well as the friends in East Cape.
Avocadoes seem to like sea humidity.
Remember to water them a lot for the first year, Mitch.
BTW...I don't recall seeing anything but a Hass in Baja.MitchMan - 4-23-2014 at 09:08 PM
Thanks, UDO, that helps a lot.bajachris - 4-23-2014 at 10:24 PM
How in the world can there be 103 posts on the cost of limes in baja. Slow news week?Udo - 4-24-2014 at 08:34 AM
If you follow the posts, it is not necessarily about the cost of limes, but HOW the cost of them has affected the shopping habits of the lime's users.
Here in the states, even El Torito is cutting back on the number of limes they use to prepare foods, and in fact are now using regular lemons.
Rubio's Fish Tacos, also has cut down on their usage, and in their normal salad bar, we now see slivers of limes, instead of the customary large lime
wedges.
