And without Shari in BA, who is going to post photos of BA's storm damage?
Perhaps Vgabndo, or Bajaboy.Udo - 9-14-2014 at 06:24 PM
I pray that my good buddy, George Bergin (OSPREY) will be OK through the storms.
And hopefully they'll receive enough rain to get the underground wells to fill up again.micah202 - 9-14-2014 at 06:24 PM

Heard from a former Mulege resident now living on the mainland just south of Zihuatanejo. The storm has passed there. No injuries reported. The public
beach in Barra de Potosi has been destroyed which most likely excavated the thousands of turtle eggs that were just laid there two weeks ago. So
sad....dammm.
Stay safe. Stay warm. Be well tonight, southern friends.

"Our ridiculous late-night run through the halls of the hotel to get to a safe location. This is scarier than Hurricane Sandy. Our room on the second
highest floor has flooded. It sounds like a freight train outside and the building is shaking. The windows on several floors are blown out. We had to
evacuate through the open-air hallway, through flooding, torrential rain and whipping winds, dodging debris. Now, we're here in the hotel's shelter,
sleeping on the carpet with hundreds of others, sweating bullets. Biggest weirdest slumber party everrr! Happy anniversary @arwilli13 ! Praying
everyone stays smart and safe!!!"
"2:07 a.m. MDT: This is not a cooling rain in Cabo San Lucas. The temperature and dewpoint are both at 78, so power outages will leave people exposed
to stifling humidity (and eventually, heat) in the coming days."
From several days without clouds nor wind, we get our first hint of what is coming in the form of a cloud cover, light wind and a bit of rain.shari - 9-15-2014 at 02:42 AM

Yesterday at this time (7:00 a.m.) I was putting out lines at Thetis Bank outside Mag Bay thinking that the storm would pass offshore to the west a
couple of hundred miles some time today. Didn't learn until I got back to Loreto yesterday evening that Odile had veered to the right and Lopez
Mateos would be ground zero.
There is no cell service in Lopez now, or in San Jose.
