The red Landcruiser in the pic was a friend's. I had an older blue one. It was my first brand new car. Bought it just after the west coast dock strike
in Oct 1972. I was getting real anxious for the strike to get settled. Paid $3650 for it which included the bumper winch. Sold it in 1984 for $4400.
Wish I still had it.

The only rule to hijacking a thread is that you at least should have read all the previous posts. If you have, it is appropriate to hijack, but only
under certain circumstances.
Top ten reasons to hijack a thread.
10 ) Thread has gone cold. IE, more than 20 minutes since last post.
9) Topic was lame to begin with and poster sees an opportunity to spice it up.
8) Dog pictures
7) Puppy pictures
6) fish pictures/trip pictures
5) Chance to interject ones political beliefs
4) Opportunity to make sexual reference
3) Opportunity to embarrass another poster
2) To make yourself feel good/edit your post
1) To prove to all Nomads that you are superior in all ways related to Baja, and to disgrace every other poster who has dared to challenge any
opinion you have ever shared.

this hijacked thread about hijacking threads by thread hijackers gets hijacked much more, it would be a thread that's been jacked higher than any
hijacked thread has been hijacked? My guess is that this is definitely the case.docsmom - 12-11-2007 at 07:57 PM
