I met Mama Espinosa in 1986, because my parents, seasoned Baja travelers, insisted it was a "must visit" location! She seemed to show us special
attention because we were traveling from Alaska with three boys between 10 and 16 years old.
I stopped there in 1999 and had a brief interaction with her, but not like it was as a family visit.
My next visit was not until 2012, and she was not in the restaurant that day.
