Good piece on El Vulcan
I have been out to Marmol several times
Wish that I had taken time to go on out and see the volcano
Next time! (As we always say and seldom do)Fatboy - 10-9-2024 at 10:39 AM
So, I take it that it no longer erupts? David K - 10-9-2024 at 01:03 PM
Why not?
One would need to live there for up to a month to witness it.
The second time I went there, my travel companion, Lorenzo de Baja, had the desire to return and set up there... unless there was a way to secretly
locate a video camera to keep a 24/7 watch on it! Hopefully not for a dark, nighttime eruption.Fatboy - 10-9-2024 at 03:56 PM
Just the impression I got.....David K - 10-9-2024 at 09:37 PM

Why don’t you place a trail camera to get photos/videos? Would be a good excuse for you to do a couple road trips
In your study of el volcan did you find info on the geologic source of the CO2?

I don't own a trail camera or would risk the loss of one or could make two trips in the same year (getting old sucks). I will leave that up to someone
else to do. My last time there was in 2011 with the Nomad Lost Mission Search Team: https://www.bajabound.com/bajaadventures/bajatravel/lost_mis...
