HWY 3

In October I posted Hwy 3 was ok at a slow rate of speed. After driving it again yesterday I will not be using it any longer. Its gotten REALLY bad.
That's a bummer because I'm in Ensenada and the Hwy3 to Hwy5 route south was nice. Back to Mex 1. Saludos

Bad is relative. I don't know 3. 5 has had its problems.

1 has been bad S. of Catavina. And, bad N. of Jesus Maria.

Can't be in a hurry on these stretches. Just go slow for awhile.

I drove it 4 days ago. While there were some pot holes it's far from "really" bad. Just suck it up and drive, if that is undrivable I'd head back to the states and call Mexico done, it can and does get WAY worse.

But please do tell all your friends NOB the roads are horrible and can not be driven on.

Thank you for setting me straight. Giving a ride to a Mexican family with two blown out tires and seeing another trying to flag down help must be my imagination. I tow a boat down south 6 to 8 times a year and the broken leaf spring in November must also be a figment of my imagination.

Anyone who would live in a chithole as San Felipe really is a tough guy and there is no way I could ever hope to SUCK IT up like he can.

By the way, is the "Baja" in your handle self proclaimed, earned or paid for?
How can I get a "Baja" in my name.
Do I need to speak Spanish? How many days a year and for how many years before I can add "Baja" to my name.

In defense of San Felipe, the town isn't for everyone. It can be rough around the edges esp. during holidays. Always stay there going and coming. Good food, good people.

Don't think there are any chitholes in Baja but that's just my opinion.

Bajazly is the resident nomad in SF. He's tough enough.
