Merry Christmas! Amazing how there are decorations all over considering this is a Muslim country!! I was so worried before we moved here...waste of time...we even have a Christmas market!!

I cannot load photos at this time, but I will when I can, We just changed internet providers and mjor issues came up, including no photos loading up to the site I always use for posting them here. Ahhhh the fun side to living in Turkiye (Turkey).

and I have a small world story: went to an expat Christmas gathering and there was a couple I did not know across from me. Chat about this that and the other when the conversation turns to their daughter who is in Curacao and works with dolphins - finishing up her Masters. They happen to mention that she is on her way to Washington State for 4 months so I say - pleae tell her to go to Baja as she will never be closer. Specifically, she should go whale watching and specifically, she must meet Shari Bondy in a village called Bahia Asuncion.

Shari? Shari Bondy?? The mom says as she whisks out her cell phone. I am sure I have seen my daughter mention that name. Lo and behold!!!! She shows me the photo that Shari has kissing a whale!!!!

My jaw dropped. Did you hear it fall on the floor? What a small world amigos, what a moment. Anyways, I hope they do go to la Bufadora (I urged mom and dad to join her).

We had the airing of the grievances on the 24th. All 18 of us had some big laughs.

Happy Healthy New Year to all Nomads! See you all in Baja.
