I'm considering opening an Intercam Bank account.

Are there any experience-based Bajanomad opinions?

Been banking in La Paz for 20+ years.
Even the good banks make you question on occasion whether you want to stay in that relationship.
And then there is Intercam!
It's like springtime after a long hard winter.
Always at least one staff member speaking English.
Not kinda English - flawless!
Their online experience is fresh, streamlined and without the usual Mexican geek flaws.
Highly recommended!

Weve been with them for about 5 years in Los Barriles and no problems at all.

We've been using Intercam bank in Loreto since shortly after they opened. They have been very good to deal with.

There have been some concerns with Intercam's internal security at Los Barriles branch. To its credit, Intercam made the customers whole.

We like Intercam for many of the reasons listed above. Their app and online banking website are cumbersome and awful but we have learned to work with them.

I, too, am an Intercam fan. In particular the additional security feature they employ when using their card of generating a unique security code for each transaction transmitted via their app on your phone good for only a single transaction which must be completed within 5 minutes.
