At an estate sale. The Boojum and Its Home is heavily into vegetation and geographic characteristics of the peninsula.
Inside that book there were multiple pages of handwritten notes of a 1977 trip. I haven't read it all yet - included their packing list.
The other, Lower California Guidebook is a 1970 Fourth Printing. I didn't realize I already had it. If anyone wants it, I'm willing to make an offer
you can't refuse. It's a classic with some old photos and street maps.

I don't have the boojum book, only knew of it.
The Lower California Guidebook is a classic must have by all Baja enthusiasts as the Bible of Baja travelers for the peninsula prior to 1970-1973. The
road logs, maps, history, and more remain a valuable resource to this day. If for nothing else, as a look at how things were between the 1956 and 1970
editions and printings.
