La Paz, Baja California Sur. The minor who was struck by a car on Sunday, June 15, during the Coyote 300 off-road race remains hospitalized and
receiving medical attention, according to information provided by the state Health Department.
The agency clarified that the patient is 13 years old, after incorrect information circulated on social media indicating he was four years old. The
child has a pelvic fracture that does not require surgery and a mild head injury.

Sorry to hear and hope he recovers completely. The article says that no one realized he had been hit right away due to dust from the sand covering
him up.
