Does anyone have any information about this? My boat is housed in Bahía Asunción and the TIP expired about a year ago. I was hoping to go to the
Capitan de Puerto in either Guerrero Negro or Santa Rosalia to renew it rather than drive all the way back to the border. Gracias.

Not sure if you can do it at those places or not. I'm doubtful you can. La Paz and Ensenada you can for sure. You'll definitely need to turn your
old one in.
If you don't want to do it by yourself this person might be an option for you. This was posted here about 3 years back. I've thought about using her
for my boat.
"I used someone in Ensenada who will do the paperwork for you and you don't need to be present. Her name is Michelle Aguillar
(info@bcconnection.com.mx) and her website is www.bcconnection.com.mx. Everything is done through email and she'll email you the TIP same day. It was $260 but the TIP is good for 10 years."

They will get you taken care of. One of my boats was already registered in the TIP and I couldn't find the paperwork. They submitted it to the Mexican
government and it didn't show up in the system. Despite what many here want to believe, the "system" in Mexico isn't too advanced as of yet. Give it a
try.
All online, just pay the fee and you are back in action. Keep a hard copy and a digital copy just like the fishing licenses, etc.
Peace, love and fish tacos, eh
