That’s a long tow. Cost is more than extra fuel: extra insurance, extra drive time, extra time at border (and hassle of explaining who owns trailer
is not present/towing), extra vehicle wear/tear. And if trailer is old or poorly maintained and has a structural, mechanical or tire malfunction…
