Wife and I drove our old '94 Suburban down to leave at our new place in P. Lopez Mateos on Bahia Magdalena
We took our time, stopped the first night in San Felipe at the Palms hotel and Alfredos Restaurant. Not the cheapest, but a nice place. Made our way
to San Ignacio the next day, with a road delay south of El Rosarito of some giant machinery being transported south on three different trucks and
several lead and chase vehicles in the convoy. We stayed at La Huerta also a nice place, with dinner at the Rancho Viejo on the plaza. Next morning
hit the convoy again at the Tres Virgenes grade for another delay. Stopped at Conception Bay at El Requesion ? for break and leg stretch. Beautiful
spot. On into Loreto for a few days. Fished one day for Yellowtail, Pargo, and one nice Leopard Grouper. Over to Lopez with a major checkpoint near
the top of the grade on the flats, of National Guard with lots of folks stopped. Very nice lady with prefect english asked the standard questions, and
on our way. Arrived at Lopez, fished a few days for more grouper, spotted bay bass corbina and others. Flew back to Tijuana from Loreto a few days
later.
Another great trip.

Thank you Phil for a great report!
Do you still have a place in Loreto or did the town get too busy?
Let's do lunch when you're back!
