frigate bird got it right. A buddy has a really cool house out on the bluff overlooking the dunes and the sea. About 5 miles west of colonet.

Gee, the tracks from my ATC 110 ride on that dune (in 1980/81) are gone!!?? 
Down the beach toward Cabo Colonet, I found a National Geographic message in a bottle, studying ocean currents... that trip.
