Uber if you want direct/fast.
Mexicoach runs a shuttle (maybe 1 every 2 hrs?), link at the CBX website.
Another option is MTS 992 bus to Santa Fe Depot (bus runs every 15 minutes), then the blue line trolley to Iris or San Ysidro, then Uber to CBX. (MTS
992 is the airport-downtown shuttle)

we opted for taxi as the Uber line was long; expensive though, around $100.

There is a CBX pick-up point at the Santa Fe Depot and at an address of Admiral Boland Way which is a street going from airport to the rental car
center. So you could take a rental car shuttle at the airport to the Admiral Boland Way pick-up point, or take the MTS 992 bus at the airport to the
Santa Fe/Kettner P/U point. CBX shuttle runs every 2 hours so there's that definite time you need to be at P/U. OR - you could take the 992 to Santa
Fe, then take the TROLLEY to San Ysidro border, walk across the border and take a taxi to the airport which drops you off at the front door. I have
heard that the CBX method is popular and its not that much of a time saver any longer and it costs money - so NOT using CBX is a reasonable
consideration. If you walk across the border you'll be able to get your FMM at that time. Yellow taxi prices to specified destinations are posted -
should cost about $25 to airport from TJ border. A white taxi is a little cheaper and you can negotiate price. So a multi-step process with time/$
considerations. If you use the MTS/trolley you can pay for and have a pass on your phone through PRONTO ahead of time (or pay cash). Have fun on your
