That's not the case in CA you get reg card by mail in two weeks. Dealer gives temp reg card It passes or they send me
back. If so, I store it in buddy's house SD than after two weeks .DMV mails reg card to my CA home. So, its same buy new car in CA temp reg card .If a

Was A 13hour round trip 4 hour wait Tecate X; Ray machine. Every car had to pass it . On return run no line to get back Tecate. I gave them my temp
reg and Ca driver lic. She asked if new did not even look at Vin number.
