No water...no power....no (big) growth...we hope!

It's true there is a land grab going on in and around Bay of Conception but I don't think it's ready for that type of growth.
In order to achieve such lofty goals, one must develop an infrastucture. There are some wells sunk in the area but could not provide near enough for a thirsty "mini-Escondido".
Particularily areas such as P. Chivato which has an ongoing war with certain water dependant beachfront casa developments. Currently the area is at the mercy of the person holding the water rights and the distribution by refilling elevated tanks placed strategically along "The New Road". With the failed attempt at a nearby hydroponic farm the possibility of water in any volume reaching the Chivato areas on south went up in smoke.
The homeowners and developers along with myriad others has pushed local and state officials for the completion and extension of the original piupeline.
Needless to say though, property out around P. Chivato is rediculously high priced. Amentities are few, electricity is solar. Terrible roads and a feeling of isolation. Oh, don't forget all the Euronuts hanging around the Hotel. Awesome area for fishing, diving nearby, lots of Sun. Miles of beach. Watch out for quads on the beach. Great place to go visit and beach camp.
I will ask the person who owns a big chunk of Burro Beach what he knows about that. I remember Pompanos recent thread describing all the grandiose plans which never came to fruition.
Time will tell.
