Baja web cams

Sharksbaja - 5-8-2005 at 07:19 PM

There seems to be a shortage of web cam placements in Baja. Does anyone have any cam links for anywhere? Do they use them for the news, etc? I haven't even heard mention hereabouts. I think Pompano should install one pointing out to sea, but not missing the action on his patio. We could then get BOC conditions muy pronto si?

bajalou - 5-8-2005 at 07:25 PM

Here's one in San Felipe

There was another but can't find it now.

:D

Try this one, best with Explorer or those browsers that emulate IExplorer (Opera, etc.)

Tucker - 5-8-2005 at 07:34 PM

You may have to type in the last part using firefox................ /bcs/bcs.php

thebajarunner - 5-8-2005 at 07:43 PM

When you get tired of those, check out this one....
I go to these two frequently during the day...
(not at night, only in the daytime!)

here is what I do

fdt - 5-8-2005 at 08:52 PM

I read http://www.elsudcaliforniano.com.mx/default.asp while viewing http://www.vialidad.telmex.net/foto.php?NF=14& and listening to http://www.cabomil.com.mx/ .
Maybe I'm wierd, but it somehow takes me back (or closer) to my place.

then I come back

fdt - 5-8-2005 at 08:57 PM

to my reality and read http://frontera.info/ and view http://telnor.com/inicio/garita/?idSec=10 and face it :(

Audio

fdt - 5-9-2005 at 11:27 PM

you go to cabomil and on the top right, you see a green flashing arrow, click on that, realplayer comes on and you close the main cabomil page

turtleandtoad - 5-10-2005 at 05:52 AM

I opened the La Paz webcam site and what is the first thing I see:?: A KFC:o

Bummer :fire::fire::fire:

comitan - 5-10-2005 at 06:08 AM

turtleandtoad-----Your seeing things, La Paz doesn't have a KFC we are just a quaint little mexican town. So theres still hope.

Tucker - 5-10-2005 at 07:13 AM

T & T use the link fdt posted for La Paz http://www.vialidad.telmex.net/foto.php?NF=14&
The other is not a complete URL for La Paz and shows locations in Mexico City, hence the KFC.

osoflojo - 5-10-2005 at 08:19 AM

At risk of offending our anti-CABO Nomads

www.allaboutcabo.com nice view of the beach in front of the Mango Deck/ Office.

turtleandtoad - 5-10-2005 at 10:27 AM

Sorry, I thought I was looking at La Paz, I was there in March and didn't remember any KFC.

I see now that you're right, it's Mexico City. That's still a little disturbing thoough.

David K - 5-10-2005 at 05:48 PM

There was once a web cam at the observatory, 9,280 feet ASL... It went down (for upgrades) a couple years ago! It was supposed to be back up soon, and move-able... I had the email of one of the astronomers up there and asked him if they could point it at Diablo or even better, let you move it from your keyboard to look out across the desert or back at the telescopes and pines... THAT would be really cool!:o
