My husband and I traveling to Baja in October and will be spending 3 nights in Loreto. Does anyone have any info on hotels in Loreto. We prefer to
stay 'in town', but since we'll have a car, we can stay anywhere.
Try Hotel Quinta San Francisco

If you dont smoke, Villas de Loreto is a wonderful place with a nice restaurant on the premises. http://www.villasdeloreto.com
CocoCabanas is another choice. Very close to the place Keri mentioned but brand spanking new and a pool.
I love Loreto and am sure that you will enjoy your stay...

Across from the Garcia Bakery are two nice little rooms rented by the wife of the dentist across the street. $30. Perfectly new, perfectly clean.
Secure gated parking.
San Bruno Apartments
Or Iguana Inn.
Pollo Rico is good for BBQ chicken. Always lots of locals, always a good sign.
Yer gonna love it!!! I'm envious.

Trip Advisor is an informative site but I discovered that they are not an unbiased source for information.
I wrote a review of a Loreto hotel last year after a negative experience and just noticed that my review along with several other of the less than
glowing reviews of the facility have been removed. And I even toned-down how we really felt about the place in my review!
We've enjoyed Villas de Loreto (parking is very secure and there's more room to navigate our truck and trailer in there than some of the places in the
heart of town). It's on the beach and very quiet with nice people, but it is outside of town a little. They can fill up during fishing tournament
season. You can check the room availbility for your specific dates on their website which is handy.
Villas de Loreto

I would also give an A+ to Villas de Loreto. We stayed there in October 2 years ago and were very impressed. They are a mile south of town, but with
your own car it will be no problem to drive into town. The owners and staff are great, the grounds are wonderful, with the pool, restaurant, beach,
kayaks to use. They can arrange fishing, if you wish, and they will pick you up at the hotel and drop you off after fishing. They will clean and
fillet your fish. And they have a number of rooms to chose from. We were a group of 5 so we rented the beach house and one other room. The beach house
was great, because of the room it had, great kitchen, and right on the beach, but it may be a bit expensive for 2 people.
