I thought they had slick advertisers. If you get out the "Big Guns" like these guys you will have no problem filling the order:

LORETO BAY HIRES WONGDOODY Destination Boasts Largest Sustainable Development In the World

Los Angeles - 9/22/2004 --- Loreto Bay Company, developers of a new community in Baja California Sur, Mexico and the largest sustainable development in the world, has hired WONGDOODY as its tourism advertising agency of record.

The Villages of Loreto Bay (www.LoretoBay.com) will be a series of seaside villages built on 8,000 acres in the foothills of the Sierra de la Giganta Mountains and along three miles of coastline on the Sea of Cortez near the historic town of Loreto. 5,000 acres will be designated as a nature preserve and sanctuary for native plants and animals and will also include trails for hiking, horseback riding and other recreational use.

Loreto Bay is the last of five areas identified by FONATUR, Mexico's tourism development agency, as prime tourism sites in Mexico. The others are the well-known destinations of Cancun, Los Cabos, Ixtapa-Zihuatenejo and Huatulco. The project is under construction and has sold 150 homes valued at a total of $45 million. When completed, the seaside community will include 5,000 homes, plus hotels, service and retail businesses, and cultural and recreational facilities.

Loreto Bay, considered the antithesis of Mexico?s well-known spring break destinations, will work to enhance the area?s existing environment. The villages, each with their own character and feel, will be built in stages over the next 10-15 years.

WONGDOODY will promote Loreto Bay tourism in several markets, including Phoenix, San Diego, Seattle and Vancouver, British Columbia. The agency?s Seattle and Los Angeles offices will work on the awareness campaign.

?We are very pleased to be working with an agency that brings such a strong history of creative solutions to business opportunities,? said Bob Toubman, Loreto Bay senior vice president. ?As a new development with aggressive plans for entering markets throughout the western U.S. and Canada, we need our marketing partners to bring a strong track record of success and a commitment to our vision for the largest sustainable development in the world. WONGDOODY was the right choice for Loreto Bay.?

"This is a unique opportunity to literally put Loreto Bay on the map,? said WONGDOODY CEO Ben Wiener. ?The fact that the resort is committed to sustainable development and an enlightened vision of the possibilities of tourism make it all the more gratifying, We felt a strong connection with the Loreto Bay team from our very first meeting, and the more we learned about their plans, the more excited we became."

WONGDOODY is an independently-owned advertising and public relations agency with offices in Seattle and Los Angeles. Clients include Alaska Airlines, T-Mobile, Bank of America, Dairy Queen, Sony Pictures Digital Entertainment, Alpine Electronics and MGM Home Video. WONGDOODY has 70 employees and billings in excess of $75 million.

Sure wish I was in the Water business like Boone Pickens, I could buy water from Canada, ship it south through the colorado river, sell to the States for Power,, then ship in on to Baja and the Loreto Bay villeges. could make some money
