why don't you delete posts more than 3 months old? it seems like they take up a lot of room and I don't think many people go back and search through
them. they keep asking the same questions over and over anyway and people don't mind answering. but you end up with the same answer 20 times.

Bruce,
Some of us do go back and do a search, like now, I'm trying to find a thread way, way back about shocks (can't seem to find it DRAT!) If the old
threads don't use up server space that Doug needs I would hope it would be okay to keep them.

OK Debra I don't think you are alone . lets see what some of the other Nomads think?

I can assure you that there is quite a bit of traffic from people looking at the older threads.
As far as space is concerned, the biggest issue are message attachments (images, etc).
Current size of these tables in the database:
184 MB - attachments
34 MB - posts
4 MB - u2u

Oh, why were on the subject, for anyone that's interested:
4000 records - attachments
60000 records - posts
5000 records - u2u
