I think we should all refrain from writing about drinking Beer , smoking cigarettes and M.J.,making love, and eating to much. I am afraid that if my
kids read this stuff they will try it and they will be led into a life of sex, crime, and drunkenness

I suppose we're talking about school-age kids. If my kid were that age I couldn't let him or her on this particular board because it would throw
their English grades out the window -- what excuse could I then have? None. Not enough to say "Son, most of the posters use "your" when they mean
"you're". Most use "to" when they mean "too". Doug said there are about 1700 of them out there but the regulars must not have had a chance at the
education you are getting or didn't take advantage of it and I don't want that to happen to you. Language skill is more important now than ever.
They can't all be "just too lazy to use could English". Son, if I instruct you to only read the posters who use the language they way your teachers
want you to use it, you would be on the board about a minute a week."

Osprey you bring up a very good point and maybe I have a solution.
maybe Doug could deduct one post off the total count for each misspelled word or bad grammar. I think that would be pretty neat. I would have about
-30,000 posts which would make me a newbie -30,000
also /2 points for bad words and talking about beer and the such.
