This is the first barrier to non-4WD rigs... deep ruts and a short steep grade, less than 2 miles for Rancho Santa Ynez...

There were some deep ruts here in 1999 when this photo of me on the quad was taken... all the rain this last winter would have made the road more
'interesting', I'm sure!
