Congrats to Antonio (and maybe David K.) for getting the festival listed in sunday's travel section in the San Diego Union Tribune. I'm sure this will bring in more people who probably hadn't heard of it.

Can you please add the piece? Those of us in the North don't have access. Thanks.....

My fault Debra, I forgot to do that. It's just a short paragraph, but it's certainly good publicity. You have to enter some information to read it. Here's the Travel section:

It was not I... another Nomad made the connection for Antonio and the town of El Rosario. In a thread below, I asked if someone could mail me the article for the town museum... So far nobody has it or can find it in the paper... I could not find the paragraph (at least the first time I looked) in the link you gave. Thanks Ted...

The writer told me it was on D7 of the Travel section, however, my Jul 3 paper did not have a D7. ?? I emailed her and asked her about this - maybe there were different editions. I'm still working on it.

I think I have a copy still of Sunday's paper. I will bring it with me to the festival.

-Residents of El Rosario, a colorful Baja community about 250 miles south of San Diego, are planning their first summer fiesta July 22-24. Festivities will include music, dancing, storytelling, a rodeo, and mission and dinosaur-quarry tours. Plenty of food and drink will be for sale. For info on lodging at three local hotels (for $25 to $35 per night), e-mail festival@bajacactus.com or phone (619) 664-3585.
