The ruins at El Sauzalito are just west of the road, a mile south of the Arroyo San Juan de Dios crossing. The arroyo was only mud this day... Copper
was the purpose of this site.David K - 7-31-2005 at 11:12 AM

However, to answer your question, I did post here on Nomad before I left on the trip that I received an email Thur. night from Julia of INAH, to not
dig at the mission. This was a suddon change as she was so enthusiastic about the drain installation to that point. I hope the wall stays until we or
someone else can help stop the undermining of the wall at the doorway.

De Nada... I am happy to see the other Nomads posting their trip reports as well... I can only show where I was that weekend, afterall. But, there was
just so much to see and do! When all the Nomads' reports (and photos) are posted, you can see what a great success this event was.
El Rosario is not just a place to fill the tank... anymore!
