Here's a very nice beach, for snorkle and lite rock fishing, for the Greenhorns. If you are to be going to Cabos San Jose ...it's few miles north of
town. Chileno beach has an nice reef that starts near the shoreline, and outward a great deal. Plenty to see there. Few tourist.

It is interesting how Cabo can serve as a bad example of development yet still have such great real estate exist without dense development. I can't
imagine such nice beaches as that one and Santa Maria surviving without condos when they have such good road access.

Great photo. I always liked Chileno because there was shade and as you mentioned pretty good snorkeling. As of now it is still a public beach.
All the land around Chileno has been sold. They SAY they will keep it open for the public....I would not count on that. Twin Dolphins has also been
sold and it is part of the Santa Maria parcel, I believe.
We still have great beaches...so far.

No! Really?! I loved this beach, and other locations we found in this gap of the cities.
