Now all you have to do is find the room for 100 rolls of toilet paper, 50 rolls of paper towels, a 500 lb bag of dog food, enough laundry detergent
to wash clothes for at least a year, a box of dog biscuits that will have your dog jumping for joy for months, possibly years, bags of vegetables
that will not fit into your vehicle and the list goes on and is large if your wife is half the woman I think she is.
HAVE FUN

If your family is Mexican 100 rolls only lasts a week

Sounds like you all need to start building a bodega for your goodies!
bajalou - 8-17-2005 at 07:53 PM
You're going to be seeing a lot more Kirkland brand products in the small tiendas now.

Can I use my Costco from US down there. I have always wondered. C
bajalou - 8-17-2005 at 07:59 PM
Yes you can - your US card is good worldwide at Costco. I use mine in Mexicali on occasion.
But as others pointed out, if you don't have one, they're cheaper in Mexico than US. - and the Mex are good in US.

With the Mexican card, you have to pay cash no chargeing, and in San Diego where they sell gas its not good.
Pricing
MrBillM - 8-17-2005 at 08:16 PM
I've only been in the Costco in Mexicali a couple of times, but I found on major items I was considering that the price came out higher than if I had
bought it in the U.S. and paid full duty at the border. Of course, if you're not already crossing the border, it's worth a lot not to have to make
the trip AND to deal with Customs coming in.
Has the pricing improved any ? Is it worth a second look ?
Has anyone had any experience with having to return a Warranty item ? In the U.S. it's never a problem. They accept returns that I wouldn't if I was
in charge.

Hose A.
Where is the location of this new COSCO.
bajajudy - 8-18-2005 at 06:23 AM
The Costco here is very easy to deal with. We have had to take a couple of items back and absolutely no problems.
As for prices, if they are a little higher here we expect it, as we are 1000 miles from the border. They are still cheap!
bajajudy - 8-18-2005 at 03:25 PM
Yes Jose A but dilligas
Bruce R Leech - 8-18-2005 at 04:05 PM

Bruce R Leech - 8-18-2005 at 05:27 PM

Anonymous - 8-19-2005 at 05:23 AM
I hear there is a Home Depot scheduled for Mulege and they have already bought some land along the highway near the Pemex. Any truth to this?
